奔驰中国官方回应国产E级＂钢材门＂

针对媒体报道的国产奔驰新E级深陷“钢材门”，奔驰中国向汽车行业关注作出回应称：

The E-Class Long Wheelbase produced in China adheres to the same steel-aluminum hybrid body concept as the E-Class models in other overseas markets. However, due to the difference in body type of the E-Class Long Wheelbase as compared to the standard wheelbase version available in other overseas markets, as well as its standard automatic transmission and higher equipment level, E-Class Long Wheelbase models have a slightly increased curb weight. From R&D to production, Mercedes-Benz always conforms to the highest safety and quality standards, and is fully compliant with all safety regulations of the markets in which we operate worldwide.  

国产E级车和在全球其它市场销售的E级车车身一样均采用钢铝混合材料。由于国产长轴距E级车身结构与海外市场不同，而且其配置水平高于海外标准轴距且标配自动变速箱，因而在整备质量上高于海外标准轴距。梅赛德斯-奔驰从研发到生产阶段一直秉承严苛的安全及质量标准，保证在全球范围内所有生产及销售的车辆均符合当地法律规定的安全标准。
